Card made with digital stamp

 Mockingbird card

I have been experimenting making Digital stamps.  This bird was a coloured clipart  image in MS Word.(left).I converted it to B&W. (right)
I then  printed it on acetate and placed it over a piece of water-coloured paper.(See top).

< Original clipart image.               Image converted to B&W.>

ATC s Angel theme.

This was for an ATC( Artists Trading Card) swap. I printed the images onto cotton then quilted and machine  stitched them.

Talk at National Print Museum, on Japanese Woodblock printing .

Woodblock

                                      Print

I enjoyed the talk and slideshow by Debra Bowden last night, and after it we
all created our own wood blocks and printed them in Sumi Ink.  This was my first print, the next print off the block would have better ink coverage.   The blocks we used were 4"x 4". I may create another design on the underside of this block.
