ATCs two techniques.

< An ATC done for a swap.  Theme was "Song"

I brushed Beeswax on the ink jet prints  and collaged them on black card.

This theme was "viva La Diva".>

I used an image transfer medium made especially for
ink jet prints,as they are water soluble!

(Note, xerox and Laser copies are waterproof, so pva or various other mediums will work, but my printer is an inkjet)

I transferred the image by brushing medium onto the paper image, and also on a piece of cotton fabric.
Placed the image face down on the fabric and rubbed the back over with a spoon.
I left it to dry then damped the paper with tissue, left it to soak in, and gently rubbed the paper away.
I left it to dry again and then re-damped the cloudy areas on the image, and very gently rubbed away the remaining paper fibers.

After it was completely dry, I sealed the surface. This time I tried Johnson's Klear floor tile sealer.  It worked well.

I trimmed and stitched the fabric onto a backing, then mounted it on card using two eyelets.
